HIDDEN MEADOWS RESIDENTS CAN GO HOME

This is the official word from the County:

Hidden Meadows evacuation notice lifted.

Evacuation notice for the community of Hidden Meadows has been lifted.
Residents who have evacuated the area are allowed to return to their homes.



Mountain Meadows evacuation notice lifted
Evacuation notice for the community of Mountain Meadows has been lifted.
Residents who have evacuated the area are allowed to return to their homes.

That's great. Now it's Valley Center's turn.

Rumor has it that a large majority of VC is not in any real fire danger, but because of road constuction, returning evacuees may propose a traffic problem for emergency vehicles. If this is the case, it's complete BS.

Can some one figure out a solution to allow us home, while not interfering with the fire effort?

We are Valley Center ex-patriots who have settled in the mountains in Central California and have been listening to kfmb760 for news online and searching for info on VC. I stumbled onto your blog tonight in my search and will check back often. Thanks so much for your updates.
