Countdown to Second Annual San Diego Women’s Week
March 30-April 2 Event Geared to Inspire, Empower and Connect Women

The region’s premier symposium for women—San Diego Women’s Week—gets underway March 30 at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. More than 5,000 visitors are expected to attend the four-day event organized by the San Diego North Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and a host of corporate and community partners.
To encourage more women to attend, the event will be held each evening from 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and Saturday 8:30am-4pm.
Wendy Walker, longtime executive producer of "Larry King Live," will be the opening night keynote speaker. Other scheduled speakers include: Tanya Brown, the sister of Nicole Brown Simpson; Ed and Lois Smart, the parents of kidnapped teen Elizabeth Smart; top golf instructor Tina Mickelson, sister of golfer Phil Mickelson; and bestselling authors John Assaraf of the Secret and Kim Barnouin. San Diego Women’s Week, which runs from March 30 through April 2, is designed to inspire, empower and connect women of all ages and professions. The event, in its second year, will feature inspirational keynote speakers as well as provide more intimate breakout forums. Speakers at San Diego Women's Week will focus on a variety of topics, ranging from health and fashion to business and technology.
“Our speaker lineup is outstanding, and our venue is top notch, said SDNCC President and CEO, Debra Rosen. “San Diego Women’s Week will be a celebration of the thousands of women who make this region so great. There is something for everyone.” Men are welcome too.

Friday’s charity luncheon and fashion show benefits Becky’s House.
