SPECIFIC PLACES

I've received several requests to post information about specific areas or streets. I'm sorry, but I'm posting the information as I get it. You're getting it as I do. If I don't post it, i don't know anything about it. Sorry, but that's the best I can do.

If I could reach through the computer and hug you I would. I am a former VC resident, and wish I were still living there. My family is though, so I can visit often. Thank you for the current and CORRECT information. For the past days we've had to piece together info, and most of it available is incorrect!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!!

Thank you. It seems you are the only one reporting on valley center in the whole county

Hello,

Does somebody know about the Woods Valley Golf Course Homes. My sister lives in St. Andrews Ln., but she was evacuated.

How do things look like there, by Woods Valley Rd.?

DId you see this, off the NBC San DIego traffic report page (link)? Click on the yellow icon near the South of Valley Center on the map, and following data comes up:

Woods Valley Rd at Paradise Mountain Rd
Structure or Grass Fire
4:02 PM: Message/Item Delivered California Department of Forestry
4:02 PM: Just Seen Starting Brush Fire at Area
4:19 PM: Message/Item Delivered 92-S11
4:20 PM: CHP Unit Assigned
4:23 PM: CHP Unit on Scene
4:24 PM: CHP Unit Assigned
4:25 PM: Sta M Advise They Have the Possible Suspect Vehicle Stopped in City of Escondido

Makes ya mad, doesn't it. These things truly seem to bring out the best in some and the worst in others.

try the sign on san diego blogs about the poomacha fires, particularly the Poomacha fire damge report. You might be able to find more info there.

Does anyone have any information about homes on Paradise Mountain Rd.?????

I live across from the Woods Valley Golf course and did not evacuate and have a view of much of the area there. It is fine and the police are on Woods Valley Rd. often both day and night. We can see down the valley and have been watching the smoke from Paradise Mt. area, it is a long way over and we feel in no danger.

Thank you to all you that are providing information on the status of our homes. Your reports are comforting and may actually allow for some sleep tonight! We are new to Valley Center and feel very blessed to be part of such an amazing community of people! We are really proud to call Valley Center our home.
