POST OFFICE RESUMES DELIVERIES

The Valley Center post office is resuming deliveries today. We saw postal delivery people loading up with mail. The retail operation at the office is also open.

Please note, this doesn't mean that residents are being let back into their homes yet. Kinda strange since people aren't here yet to receive their mail. But I don't 'splain it, Lucy, I just report it.

Never again will I quickly head the warnings to leave my home. I am sure many feel the same way. Unfortunately people may die next time. The traffic problems are caused by the casinos. No casinos... no traffic. Never again!

I think is a very irresponsible move. I heard reports of looting near my residence. Now the post office is going to give these lowlifes more things they can easily steal. Possibly leading to identity theft or credit card fraud just to name a few. The Post Master needs to rehtink this action. There might be better options for getting local postal customers their mail. Maybe residents could pick up mail at Post Office, with proper ID, untill the majority of us have been let back into our homes.

Seems a little stupid to not let people in, but deliver the mail so their mailbox will be full for those creeps going around stealing identities and looting homes that are empty. What's going to happen, is the next fire no one is going to want to evacuate as they'll know they won't be able to get back for days on end. It's ludicrous that those on the west end - Old Castle, Lilac, etc. can't get back when we've been clear. Glad we didn't leave, but would sure like to be able to get to our bank, etc.; however, we know if we go down to Esc. we won't be able to get back. Oh Well!
