The Valley Center/Pauma Music Boosters will present the 13th Annual Jazz Benefit Concert on Thursday, March 4th at 6pm at the Maxine Theater. Check out the flyer for the event.

GAS STATION GRAND OPENING

The public is invited to attend the grand opening of the new United Oil service station and convenience store on Valley Center Road this Friday, Feb. 19, 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.

The festivities will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony between 11-11:30 a.m. Walter M. Salas of United Oil tells The Roadrunner: "Please come out to this event and allow us to personally thank the wonderful community of Valley Center for allowing us to be part of their family. There will be lots of food and entertainment for the entire family. Hope to see you there!"

FRESH SNOW

This morning Palomar Mountain has about 10 inches of fresh snow that fell last night, but the roads are now clear and passable.

Former HM writer to be honored

Caryl Krueger, a former longtime Hidden Meadows resident and author of 16 books on the family and having fun as a family, will be remembered by the San Diego Board of Supervisors on Tuesday. The supervisors will will send a keepsake folder signed by all the members of the board to Mrs. Krueger's family.
